Law yard - Master

The master's degree in Company and Business Law is an advanced programme that provides specialized and multidisciplinary training to those wishing to become experts in commercial, civil, labour and tax aspects of the law as it relates to the operational activities of a company or business. It also provides an introduction to research activity that can be pursued further under the doctoral programme in Law.
The degree programme encompasses the compulsory and optional subjects necessary to provide each student with the flexibility to fully develop his or her specific academic interests; this allows orientation toward specific degree pathways through the selection of optional subjects grouped in a range of areas related to the compulsory subject areas.
The programme has a total study load of 90 credits, structured over three semesters:
  • First semester (30 credits): Students complete subjects in the compulsory subject area Contracting and Business Organization, which form the common core for all of the pathways around which the optional subjects are organized. Additionally, academic guidance is provided to select two of the four optional subjects from the subject area Cross-Disciplinary Approach to Company and Business Law.
  • Second semester (30 credits): Academic guidance is provided to select five optional subjects from the subject areas Commercial Law, Private Contract and Law and Consumer Law, Labour Law, and Tax Law.
  • Third semester (30 credits): Students prepare the Final Project in Company and Business Law under the direction of a tutor, with the aim of gaining experience in the methodologies and instruments of scientific research in the field of law.
