Information for the student – Biomedical Sciences

The Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the biosciences, enabling them to understand the biological bases (biochemical, molecular, genetic and physiological) that determine the functioning of living organisms and human beings. Its aim is to educate and train professionals who will work in biomedical research, biological diagnosis and disease prevention, as well as in the development of new healthcare strategies. The programme also prepares graduates to work as technologists, educators, science communicators and knowledge creators in a wide range of biomedical fields.
