Round Table. Feminisms: Histories of Philosophy and Gender

The Seminari Filosofia i Gènere will participate at the rounda table “Feminisms: Histories of Philosophy and Gender” at the Philosophy Festival Barcelona Pensa, which has been presented in the format of a philosophical marathon during the 18th and 19th of November.

Since the beginning of the nineties, a group of professors and students at the Universitat de Barcelona began an enthralling experience driven by the questions “where are women philosophers?” in a context in which no one heard about them. The Seminari Filosofia i Gènere, after thirty years of activity, will reflect on what this shared experience between generations and between people inside and outside the academic university world has brought to light in their meeting with authors such as María Zambrano, Hannah Arendt, Simone Weil, Hildegarda de Bingen, Christine de Pizan and many others.

The session will take place online. The link to be able to participate can be found here.

We hope you will come and participate of the Festival with us!
