Míriam Castell

Master Student

I graduated in June 2019 with a BSc in Chemistry from Universitat Jaume I of Castellón with an Erasmus grant at Univeristy of Helsinki over the academic year of 2017. During my last year at UJI I took part of a research group at the Institute of Advanced Materials, working under the supervision of Dra. Poyatos on the synthesis of flexible tetrakisimidazolium macrocycles for shape-selective molecular recognition of a single enantiomer in drugs. After that I move to Barcelona to start a MSc at Universitat de Barcelona about Drug Research, Development and Control where I have the opportunity to be part of Carles Galdeano’s team. I have found myself here a passion on drug discovery field combining computational and experimental approaches.
