The Bonelli´s eagle is a species in regression and seriously threatened in all Europe. The factors responsible for this regression can be grouped in two categories, depending on whether they affect directly the individuals (mortality and reproductive success) or the habitats that the eagles use.

Concrete and viable solutions are known to counteract all these factors that negatively affect the eagles. For their correct application it is very important the awareness and the collaboration among the different groups that make use of natural means and the public and private organizations implicated in the management of the territory.
