The research fields of this Unit focus on the study of plant responses to the environment, plant photomorphogenesis, ecophysiology, production, photosynthesis, plant-soil relationships, diagnosis and control of pathogens and plagues, soil ecology, and most recently, focuses as well on research areas based on the use of genomics, molecular biology and plant biotechnology.
