Abstract

Misinformed desires pose a prima facie challenge to desire-satisfaction theories of wellbeing.  I distinguish several types of misinformed desires, and argue that desire-satisfaction theorists should respond by claiming that only the satisfaction of intrinsic desires matters to wellbeing.
