I am a PhD student of the program in Philosophy at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Before that, I obtained a MA in Philosophy from the University of Turin, taking part to the Philosophical International Curriculum (PIC), and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Trento.

My research area lies at the intersection of philosophy of science and cognitive sciences (especially cognitive psychology). I am interested in the concept of bounded rationality, its philosophical underpinnings and uses in different scientific fields.

I am currently working on my PhD thesis about the strategy selection task, under the supervision of Professor Thomas Sturm. I study how reasoners (have to) select between analytic and intuitive decision strategies in order to solve choice problems. More generally, I investigate how formal and bounded rules of reasoning can be combined in a descriptive and normative theory of rationality.
