I hold a PhD in Philosophy (2024) from the University of Barcelona, where I developed my thesis on scientific understanding without explanation. My research challenges a central tenet in philosophy of science: that explanation is necessary for scientific understanding. Through detailed case studies combining historical and contemporary examples, I demonstrate that genuine scientific understanding can be achieved through routes other than explanation, and that these non-explanatory routes offer scientifically valuable insights.

I specialize in philosophy of science, particularly focusing on artificial intelligence in science. My areas of competence include epistemology, ethics, and philosophy of language. My current research examines the epistemic and ethical implications of AI in scientific practice.
