Dr. Lleó obtained his PhD at our laboratory in 2002 with the Thesis dealing with familial Alzheimer's disease and presenilin 1, 2 and APP genes. He performed a postdoctoral stay at the Department of Neurology, Massachusetts General Hospital. Center of Aging, Genetics and Neurodegeneration. 114 16th Street (CAGN 2021). Currently he is a Neurologist and leads a research group to study Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and of other degenerative dementias in the Hospital de la Santa Creu i de Sant Pau from Barcelona.
