The Spanish Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SEBBM) held its 42nd Congress, which took place 16-19 July, in Madrid.
In total, 655 registered, 464 communications, 331 posters, 133 presentations and 21 companies stand formed a Congress that joined symposia, workshops, awards to young researchers, satellite activities, etc.
The Institute of Biomedicine of the University of Barcelona (IBUB) supported the SEBBM with the IBUB’s Young Investigator Award, award given by the Director of the IBUB, Dr. Marçal Pastor-Anglada.
On the other hand, Dr. Laura Herrero, a member of the Board of the SEBBM and IBUB member, was the person in charge of delivering the award for the best poster presented at the Congress.
