The 13th Summer School on Medicines was held in Barcelona from July 2 to July 7, 2023.
The SSM13 curriculum covered the entire drug R&D process, from target to market. Participants took part in interactive lectures, case studies, a visit to a translational medicine research center and a full day of networking with experts from pharmaceutical companies.
SSM13 offered a unique 50-hour training program on drug discovery, development and market access under a multicultural sponsorship in the wonderful setting of Barcelona.
Each year since 2009, the SSM has involved more than 60 students, professors and research companies, bringing the opportunity to learn about drug discovery process in a multicultural context (the participants come from Canada, France, Spain, Brazil and other countries).
