Bearing in mind that this master's degree is designed to lead on from the studies comprising the EHEA bachelor's degree Literary Studies, the main objective of the course is to provide greater depth in the examination of literary theory and comparative literature and to equip the student with an advanced level of knowledge regarding the theoretical, historical and critical principles governing current writing on the subject. The course will also focus on the specialization of the students' knowledge in both general terms and in those particular areas in which each student wishes to specialize, through the initiation to advanced research, through materials proposed by the course organizers and the development of a final, tutored research project that will give the student access to the Diploma of Advanced Studies and the basis for the future preparation of the doctoral thesis in line
