Generic request

Generic request

In accordance with Article 53 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on common administrative procedures in public administrations, the administrative relationship between citizens and the Administration can be initiated ex officio or at the request of the interested party. The University of Barcelona has made this system available so that any user can initiate a procedure in writing.

Description

This procedure enables citizens to submit requests to the General Registry of the University of Barcelona concerning matters for which a specific online request or procedure is not available.

It is open to any user.

  • Members of the University community (PDI, PAS and students) access using their UB login details.
  • External users need a recognized digital certificate, Cl@ve or idCAT Mòbil.

Requirements

In order for a request to be sent and registered, it must be signed electronically with a recognized digital certificate.

  • How to obtain the Cl@ve certificate.
  • How to obtain the idCAT Mòbil certificate (online guide to obtaining the certificate and using it for UB requests and procedures).

Users who do not have a certificate can print the document and submit it at any office of the UB's General Registry or send it by recorded post.

Observations

This option can be used whenever a specific form is not available for the procedure in question. If a specific form is available, the generic request can be rejected on formal grounds. It is advisable to check the full list of online procedures currently available.

Up to ten files can be attached to a request (in PDF format, not exceeding 2 MB in total). If the documents need to be compressed, consult the relevant instructions.

Response time

The response time will depend on the procedure your request refers to.

Calendar

Each electronic office can establish its own list of non-working days for the calculation of administrative time periods. Consult the University of Barcelona's calender to see non-working days.
