Terms and Conditions of Registration

1. Organizer Identification

The Workshop is organized by a group of researchers affiliated with the Universitat de Barcelona, acting in their personal academic capacity and not on behalf of the institution as a whole.

2. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions regulate the online registration process for the International Workshop on Microwave Research and Applications, held in Comarruga, Tarragona, Spain.

By completing the registration process, participants expressly accept these Terms and Conditions in full.

3. Registration Process

Participants may register through the online registration form available on the workshop website.

Once payment has been successfully completed, participants will receive a confirmation email containing a summary of their registration.

The Organizer reserves the right to verify the information provided and to refuse registrations in justified cases.

4. Fees and Payment

All registration fees are expressed in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment platforms. The Organizer does not store or process participants' credit card or banking information directly.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to: comaruga.workshop@gmail.com

The following refund policy shall apply:

If the workshop is cancelled by the Organizer due to circumstances attributable to the Organizer, registration fees paid will be refunded.

The Organizer shall not be responsible for additional expenses incurred by participants, including travel, accommodation, insurance, or visa costs.

6. Program Changes

The Organizer reserves the right to modify the scientific program, speakers, schedule, venue, or format of the workshop due to organizational needs or force majeure circumstances.

Such modifications shall not entitle participants to compensation.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials and contents associated with the workshop and website, including texts, images, logos, presentations, abstracts, videos, and documentation, are protected by intellectual property laws.

No material may be reproduced, distributed, or publicly communicated without prior written authorization from the Organizer or the corresponding rights holder.

8. Personal Data Protection

Personal data provided during the registration process will be processed by the Organizer for the purposes of:
