GREDI on social networks
We share GREDI activities, projects, reflections and outreach actions through Instagram and TikTok, bringing research closer to the community and citizens.
We do research with and for society. That is why we try to apply in a relevant and sufficient way everything we learn and create around our research projects. As members of the University of Barcelona we feel a great commitment to the institution by participating in a multitude of committees and management bodies. Also directing and coordinating various structures and programs.
We are citizens fully committed to the values of a more just, equal, inclusive and democratic society. That is why we are also involved in institutions and social organizations in our environment.
We apply and disseminate the knowledge and learnings from our research through of estudies and technical evaluation and training assignments to institutions that contact us to meet their needs.
Evaluation is another of our great specialties from various methodological approaches.
We have developed several instruments and resources, either as specific assignments or as results and products derived from research.
Awareness, sensitization and training of citizens are part of our mission, as well as the transfer of knowledge to professionals, institutions and social entities.

Impact on public policies
Barbara Biglia's work on gender-based violence in universities contributed to the reform of Catalan Law 5/2008 on the right of women to eradicate gender-based violence, modified by Law 17/2020. This impact has been recognized by the Department of Equality and Feminism of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
In this context, the researcher was invited to participate in the evaluation of the Framework Protocol of the Government of Catalonia against gender-based violence.
