In this video, Assumpta Aneas engages in a conversation with Huangfu Junwei, a Chinese expert in education and child development, exploring the foundations of habit formation, the respective roles of families and teachers, and current educational challenges. Huangfu Junwei serves as Chief Expert of the Child Development Research Center under the Working Committee for the Care of the Next Generation of China. He is also Senior Researcher at the Beijing Shuren Tiandi Institute of Educational Research and Deputy Director of the National Research Group on Habit Formation Education (behavior development education). The dialogue offers a cross-cultural perspective on education, highlighting the importance of early habit formation, shared responsibility between home and school, and the long-term impact of educational practices on children's development. This conversation is part of the knowledge transfer and international dialogue initiatives promoted by the Research Group on Intercultural Education (GREDI-UB), University of Barcelona.

Discover GREDI: 30 years of research for a more just, inclusive and intercultural society 📢🌍 Who are we?The Research Group on Intercultural Education (GREDI) is a benchmark in social and educational research with a critical, feminist and intercultural perspective. Formed in 1992 at the Faculty of Education of the University of Barcelona, GREDI has been a pioneer in the study of interculturality and dialogue between cultures and religions, addressing key issues such as gender equality, citizen participation and transformative research.📢 Dr. Assumpta Aneas, coordinator of GREDI, explains it to us 📢Our coordinator, Dr. Assumpta Aneas, explains in this video the fundamental pillars of GREDI and the path taken by the research group since its foundation in 1992.
