Participation Intervention contexts
and research themes.

The group carries out its research in different social and educational institutions, bodies and organizations, taking a community-based approach. We are currently broadening the scope of this line of research to include social movements. Studying the construct of participation and participatory processes to contribute to social change.

  • Analysing service-learning projects and evaluating socio-educational projects.
  • Developing participatory actionby identifying needs and mobilizing local and community resources.
  • Identifying social and personal “structures” through network analysis.
  • Constructing a sense of belongingto a community and developing social skills.
  • Producing and evaluating educational resources and materials for an active, critical, intercultural citizenry.
  • Resolving conflictsfor more harmonious coexistence.
