Feminist studies Gender-based violence
Professor of the Department of Research Methods and Diagnosis in Education. She was delegate of the rector of the University of Barcelona for equality issues from 2014 to 2016. Her research on gender studies dates back to the 90s when she worked in non-sexist career guidance. She continues her career in gender issues with research on university women and the labor market, the needs of migrant women in Barcelona, intervention in women who have suffered gender-based violence and the introduction of a gender perspective in Higher Education, among others. She has developed several psychosocial care programs for women abused by their partners. Her latest projects include coordinating a comprehensive care program for women and children victims of gender-based violence and research on gender-based violence 2.0.
