On the 19th of May three of our PhD students participated in the “I Jornada de Recerca i Divulgació de Doctorat de la Universitat de Barcelona”, an event organized by the PhD representatives from the UB to promote dissemination and networking within predoctoral researchers of very diverse fields.

Javier Sánchez and Celia Escriche from Prof. Santiago Vázquez’s group presented the posters entitled “Synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of soluble epoxide hydrolase inhibitors” and “New hydrophobic tagging to degrade soluble epoxide hydrolase enzyme”, respectively.

Noemí Martínez from Prof. Diego Muñoz-Torrero’s group presented a 4 minutes monologue entitled “Road to the cure of Alzheimer’s disease”, which was selected one of the four finalists for the prize Victoriano Pineda and gave her the opportunity to present it in the auditorium of the historical building of the University of Barcelona.
