The University of Barcelona (UB) has awarded 25,000 euros to the project “Preclinical progression of a structurally new anti-glioblastoma drug” through the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation (FBG), and with the support of Banco Santander. The project, which will advance an anti-glioblastoma drug through preclinical phases, is led by Dr Carmen Escolano, from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences. This grant has been awarded within the framework of the Proof of Concept programme of the 2023 Call of the Fund for the Promotion of Innovation (F2I). Dra. Carla Barbaraci and Alba Ruiz are the researchers from the team members.
