We assisted the VIII Symposium of Medicinal Chemistry Young Researchers, organised by the Spanish Society of Therapeutic Chemistry (SEQT). This event took place in the Parc Cientific, Barcelona, Spain on the 22nd of July 2022.
We contributed to the congress presenting 3 posters from Dr. Eugènia Pujol, Dr. Marina Pedrola and Ainoa Sánchez.
We also presented 4 flash poster communications from:
- Celia Escriche presented the work entitled ”New hydrophobic tagging to degrade soluble epoxide hydrolase enzyme”.
- Noemí Martínez presented the work entitled ”Promising anti-Alzheimer catechol derivatives with ß-amyloid antiaggregating effect”.
- Anna Sampietro presented the work entitled ”The multitarget anti-Alzheimer drug discovery landscape: Where we are and where are we going?”.
- Carla Barbaraci presented the work entitled ”New polycyclic compounds for pharmacological applications”.
Pau Nadal presented an oral communication entitled ”Charting the chemical reaction space of a multicomponent reaction: access to diverse scaffolds”.
Furthermore, we are glad to announce that Dr. Andreea Larisa Turcu, Ainoa Sánchez and Pau Nadal were part of the Organising Committee of the Symposium and we would like to thank them and the other members for all their efforts. This symposium has been a great opportunity for young researchers to present and discuss their results with other scientists.
