During this week Anna Sampietro and Noemí Martínez, PhD students from Prof. Diego Muñoz-Torrero’s group attended the second edition of the workshop “From Science to Society: Translating today’s research into tomorrow’s solutions”, for which they received a grant from the Fundación Rafael del Pino. It took place in Christ’s College, Cambridge (UK).

There, they had the opportunity to meet scientists and professionals from diverse fields and covered the following topics:

• Academy – industry collaboration
• Deep-tech startups
• Impacting policy with science

It was an encouraging experience where they could learn about different fields and build new professional connections, in a breathtaking environment.
