Biomedicine is the field of experimental sciences that has grown the most in recent years, with a true revolution that focuses its efforts on the transfer of knowledge in basic research to specific applications for the improvement of public health.
The bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, which is jointly taught at the Faculties of Biology (Diagonal Campus ) and Medicine and Health Sciences (Bellvitge Campus and Campus Clínic), explores the understanding of the structure and function of the human body, with special emphasis on the determinants of health and illness, including genetic and environmental influences.
