Equality
It is set up with representatives of PDI, PAS and students, and its purpose is to ensure the application of the Equality Plan approved by the Governing Council on April 12, 2011. This Commission must support and monitor the policies of democracy, justice, equality and solidarity in our Faculty and comply with the provisions of article 4 of the Statutes of the University of Barcelona.
This Equality Commission aims to make the information and resources we have available to all people in our community, so that they can help us achieve a better coexistence and so that no situation of inequality occurs due to gender. It must also carry out actions to disseminate equality policies.
Along with the Equality Commissions of all the Faculties, the CI-Fil forms part of the UB Equality Commission which is coordinated by the Equality Unit.

On February 13, 2014, the Governing Council of the UB approved the University of Barcelona's protocol for the prevention, detection and action against situations of sexual harassment and because of sex or sexual orientation , with the precedent of the protocols drawn up in the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Biology.
The students of our faculty submitted several very good quality works to the Uneix-t'hi de debò (contra la violència de gènere) project, some of which were finalists. We thank them for agreeing to publish them here.
