The Faculty of Psychology of the University of Barcelona was awarded the first place in the 2011 edition of the study ISI Rankings of Spanish Universities, for the period 2006-2010. This ranking measures the productivity and impact of scientific publications generated at different universities.
The Faculty of Psychology at the University of Barcelona is among the 150 top faculties in the world, according to the QS World University Rankings of 2017. In 2016, the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Barcelona received a quality award from the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU).
According to the QS World University Rankings, the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Barcelona is among the best 51 to 100 faculties worldwide. The ranking is led by Harvard University, followed by the University of Cambridge, Stanford University, and the universities of Oxford and of California (Berkeley). From the 50th position onwards, the ranking does not establish the exact position of each university, but ranks the centres in intervals (51/100, 101/150, etc.).
