Hypatia Pétriz (1998) has a FPU contract at the Institute of Philosophy of CSIC (IFS-CSIC). She is doing her thesis on feminist consciousness-raising groups, especially in the Italian feminism of difference of the 1970s, between this institution and the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Barcelona (UB). Her directors are Dr. Concha Roldán and Dr. Lorena Fuster.

She participates in the group Theoria cum Praxi (IFS, CSIC), in the Seminari Filosofia i Gènere (UB) (also on the project MUVAN. Dones a l’avantguarda de l’activisme entre segles (XIX i XX): influències en la filosofia femenina (PID2020-113980GA-I00)) and is part of the working team of the project Género y Cultura Tecnológica desde el Arte y la Representación (PID2021-127336NB-I00). She is also a member of the Laboratorio de estudios del futuro.

She holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona (UB) and a Master’s degree in Advanced Studies in Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).
