Introduction

With this CETT-UB's master's degree in Tourism Innovation Management you will learn to design disruptive, unique tourism products and projects that positively impact society and the environment.

At CETT-UB, we are aware of applying innovation models focused on tourist destinations' capacity. It is necessary to design competitive and quality products through its strategic, organizational, and operational models.

The sector needs disruptive profiles to innovate, lead, and manage tourist destinations facing the industry's challenges: globalization, digitalization, new types of customers, and sustainability concerns.
El máster dispone de tres itinerarios de especialización que te permitirán profundizar en diferentes áreas según tus intereses y motivaciones:

The master's degree has three specialization routes that will allow you to delve into different areas according to your interests and motivations:

 

As a CETT student you will enjoy all the advantages that the school offers you as well as those of the UB: an extensive catalog of databases to consult documents, reports and scientific articles, among others. You will also have free access to the entire digital library of resources of the World Tourism Organization.
The master's program defines the skills necessary for the creation and management of touristic destinations by way of innovation and the value of Heritage. The program constitutes a unique opportunity to access a new job market in the development of touristic destinations.

Learning objectives

  • To understand all aspects of R&D&I in tourism and integrate all elements linked to research and design of innovative tourism products and services.
  • To delve into the essential professional knowledge that will allow you to innovate to ensure the success and transformation of institutions, organizations, and tourist destinations.
  • Provide the tools and techniques for the analysis and diagnosis of current and future strategic challenges in the tourism sector,
  • Learn to formulate strategies necessary to guarantee the competitiveness and sustainability of tourism based on innovative processes.
  • Enhance your leadership skills and contribute to implementing more effective innovative management models in organizations and destinations in the tourism sector.
  • Promote the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the tourism sector.
