Carlos Modenutti
Dr. Carlos Modenutti is a postdoctoral researcher who has recently joined Barril’s lab. He comes from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina.
Carlos has a diverse background, starting with a Master's degree in genetics and a Ph.D. in Glycoinformatics. He has been working in computational and experimental research groups in Argentina, the USA, and Germany where he could learn concepts and ideas related to drug discovery.
His current project aims to identify pan-coronavirus ligands for targeted degradation of the 3CLpro, a new and promising therapeutic strategy to address present and future infections.
