She is a geologist and paleontologist from Barcelona who has been working on stratigraphy, sedimentology, and micropaleontology of non-marine basins since end-2008. Her research is mainly focused on fossil charophytes from the Cretaceous and Paleogene under a pluridisciplinary viewpoint, including taxonomy, evolution, ecology and biostratigraphy. She is a dedicated researcher who enjoys fieldwork, conservation, and divulgation of paleontology, paleobotany and geoscience in general.

After a year as a tresearch assistant, I begin my doctoral thesis on migratory connectivity, seasonal interactions and carry-over effects on Atlantic seabirds.

My research line is focused on coral and gorgonians’ reproduction and energetics, primarily about their relationship with species resilience and resistance to natural and human induced impacts

Doctoral thesis on the protective mechanisms against severe drought stress in non-model plants, both C3 (Olea Europaea L) and CAM (Sempervivum tectorum L.) species, specially focusing on jasmonates.

My research focuses on the study of biology, ecology, behavior and conservation in freshwater fish.
