Conference “Collaborative research in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences”
The objective of this seminar, to be held on June 20th (12 a.m., Faculty of Geography and History of the UB), is to explain to researchers and research groups such as the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation (FBG) we can help them to make your research impact on society and how we can accompany you throughout the transfer process. It will also be the Social Innovation Laboratories as new channels for collaboration with companies.
Joining the humanities with the business environment might seem like a paradox, but in fact it is not. The company faces the contemporary social challenges with a richer and more transversal look, putting the social sciences and humanities in value by creating new opportunities for collaboration. More and more public research is becoming more public. Resposive Research and Innovation, co-creation, prototyping laboratories or Living-labs are concepts that begin to incorporate into the speeches of public and private representatives.
During the last four years the FBG has managed more than 1,600 contracts between researchers from the University of Barcelona and institutions and entities in the field of social sciences.
