Coordinated by Joana Masó, Centre Dona i Literatura, and Jorge Luis Marzo, BAU Centre Universitari de Disseny de Barcelona, this cycle of 10 debates takes as a starting point some open spaces in Barcelona where the iconic, historical, political and collective value of some of the elements that can be seen in the city is decided. The Centre Dona i Literatura collaborates in the debate "The added value of multiculturalism: history of a failure?" on March 2, 2016 at 19h, led by Éric Fassin (Université Paris 8 - CNRS), Pep Fornés (director of the Museu Etnològic and the Museu de les Cultures del Món) and Pep Dardanyà (Escola Massana). The debates will be in Catalan, Spanish and, in the case of Italian, there will be simultaneous translation.
