The workshop “Dar a luz en tiempos de pandemia: Implicaciones éticas”, will be organized by Josefina Goberna Tricas and Pía Rodríguez Garrido (ADHUC - Universitat de Barcelona); Ainoa Biurrun (Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu); and Carme Perelló (Universitat de Barcelona). This event involves the participation of a number of professionals in different areas, who will have a conversation about the various forms of vulnerability and violence which women and professionals have been affected by around birthgiving, and will attempt to delve into the ethical implications which the COVID-19 pandemic has had on maternity healthcare.

This workshop is the result of the project "Birthgiving in the Times of the COVID-19 Pandemic: Ethical Implications of Maternity Healthcare", funded by the research scholarships for bioethics granted by Fundació Víctor Grífols i Lucas.
