Desig i subversió per Marta Segarra

Lecture
Wednesday February 15, 2017 at 18h30
CCCB, c/ Montalegre 5 - 08001 Barcelona

Ever since Freud's theories were embraced as "common sense", people have tended to think of desire and sexuality as liberating forces, capable of changing social norms and, accordingly, the ideological systems underpinning them. But is desire subversive? What is the relationship between desire, love and sexuality? Of what do they consist and where are the "politics of desire" leading us? CCCB, in collaboration with ADHUC, is the organizer of "Desire and Subversion", a lecture by Marta Segarra (CNRS and ADHUC) and presented by Meri Torras (Cos i Textualitat).
