Doctoral Workshop with Federica Castelli

On Wednesday, June 10 2026, at 10 am, the Doctoral Workshop with Dr. Federica Castelli, a researcher in Political Philosophy at the Università degli Studi Roma Tre, will take place at the María Zambrano Seminar Hall of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Barcelona.
Federica Castelli has a doctorate in Political Philosophy, and her research focuses on the relationship between conflict, public space, feminisms, bodies, and new forms of politics. She is the author of several works on urban space, revolts, feminist thought, and contemporary forms of collective action, among which the following stand out: Corpi in rivolta. Spazi urbani, conflitti e nuove forme della politica, Lo spazio pubblico, Comunarde. Storie di donne sulle barricate i Jane Addams, Chicago e la Hull House. Una democrazia radicata.
The activity, organized by Núria Sara Miras Boronat —Philosophy and Gender Seminar and University of Barcelona— and Just Serrano Zamora —University of Barcelona—, will consist of the presentation of three articles by Dr. Castelli, which will be commented on by three doctoral students: Chris Small, Jacopo Pecorino, and Hypatia Pétriz Haddad, also a member of our Philosophy and Gender Seminar.
