We are delighted to announce that our colleague Varbina Ivanova has successfully defended her PhD thesis today, Computational Approaches for Innovative Drug Discovery: Applications and Integration with Experiment, receiving the highest grade of Excellent.

The defense was evaluated by Dr Matteo Masetti, Dr Salomé Llabrés, and Dr Antonia Mey, whom we warmly thank for their time, thoughtful questions, and valuable feedback.

Varbina gave an excellent defense, presenting her research in a clear and well-organised way.

Beyond her scientific achievements, Varbina has been the heart of our group, bringing enthusiasm, kindness, and positivity to everyone around her. We will miss her greatly and are excited to see where the next chapter of her career takes her.
