We invite everyone to the Rural Alternatives seminar, organized by the GER (Grup d’Estudis sobre Reciprocitat), which will take place in the Laboratorio de Antropología (Anthropology Laboratory), on the first floor of the Faculty of Geography and History on November 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

On this occasion, we will have the participation of Lucía Muñoz Sueiro, who will begin the day at 10:00 a.m. with the presentation “Tejiendo temporalidades: La cultura del esparto y su potencial postfigurativo para el decrecimiento” (Weaving Temporalities: The Culture of Esparto Grass and its Postfigurative Potential for Degrowth); and Lucía Díez Sanjuán, a member of the GER, who at 12:00 p.m. will present “Explorando las interrelaciones entre dimensiones biofísicas y bioculturales en las transiciones agroecológicas” (Exploring the Interrelationships between Biophysical and Biocultural Dimensions in Agroecological Transitions).

Below, you will find a brief biography of each speaker:
