First reading of the course: ‘Educació 2018-2020. Reptes, tendències i compromisos’

We suggest you start the course by reading the book Educación 2018-2020. Retos, tendencias y compromisos, the first book in the collection “Challenges, tendencies and compormisos in education”, which has been coordinated by Teresa Lleixà, Begoña Gros, Teresa Mauri and José Luis Medina.

In the volume edited by IRE-UB, which has had the participation of the Institute of Research and Educational Innovation of the University of the Balearic Islands, several authors reflect on the challenges and trends in education, while pointing their own commitments in the issues they address.

Through brief articles, aspects such as the characteristics and identity of university education are discussed, as well as their implications for the development of society; the new trends in educational research methodologies; the orientation acquired by teacher training; the formation in specific educational disciplines, and the values ​​in education before the social responsibility.
