This year marks the 14th edition of the Summer School of Medicines (SSM14), for the second time at the School of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, at the University of São Paulo Campus. In this edition, students were immersed in very in-depth content, participating in interactive lectures, case studies and the opportunity to network with experts.

Two PhD students from the group were able to attend thanks to the scholarships offered by IBUB. From Dr. Diego Muñoz-Torrero’s group and from Dr. Carmen Escolano’s group Anna Sampietro and Fernando Romero presented a poster of their research.

We are looking forward to participate in future editions and keep building connections with other young researchers from other countries, as it is co-organized by the Institute of Biomedicine of the University of Barcelona, the University of Montreal, the University of Toulouse and the University of Ribeirão Preto.
