Last week some members of the group participated in the 4th Molecules Medicinal Chemistry Symposium – Harnessing the Power of New Drug Modalities (MMCS 2024), which took place in Barcelona. Prof. Diego Muñoz-Torrero was chair of the event, Prof. Carmen Escolano was part of the Scientific Committee and some postdoctoral and doctoral students presented their work:

• Dr. Ana Mallo-Abreu, Javier Sánchez and Anna Sampietro presented an oral communication.
• Ainoa Sánchez presented a “flash” poster presentation.
• Prof. Carmen Escolano, Celia Escriche, Aldrick Verano, Noemí Martínez-Conde and Alba López presented a poster.

Moreover, Dr. Francisco Javier Pérez-Areales presented part of his work as a postdoc in Cambridge.

It was a great conference where we could share part of our work with colleagues and learn from other very interesting projects.
