The UB’s energy saving plan contributes to reducing consumption during the first quarter of 2023
During the first quarter of 2023, electricity consumption decreased by 4.5% and gas by 23.3%, compared to the same period in 2022. On the other hand, water consumption has increased by 8.2%.

La recuperació d’activitat presencial i un any calorós i sec el 2022 fan augmentar el consum d’electricitat i aigua, i disminuir el de gas
Al llarg de l’any 2022, el consum d’electricitat ha augmentat un 6,9% i el d’aigua un 16,5%, respecte a 2021. En canvi, el consum de gas ha disminuït un 16,2%.
During the first half of 2022 electricity and water consumption increases, gas consumption decreases
Between January and June 2022, electricity consumption has increased by 11.96% and water consumption by 28.57%, compared to the first half of 2021. Instead, gas consumption has decreased 0.03%. When interpreting this evolution, it should be borne in mind that the covid-19 pandemic had a major impact on activity in our buildings during the first months of 2021, with less attendance at the buildings by the university community. This year, with the gradual recovery of activity, consumption is being affected upwards.

En relació amb l’any 2019, el consum d’electricitat ha disminuït un 10,7% i el d’aigua ha baixat un 24,6%. En canvi, el consum de gas ha augmentat un 5,4%, com a resultat de la necessitat de ventilació contínua als espais interiors.
