Since April 2014 I am Professor for Public Finance and Debt Management at Goethe University, Frankfurt. Before I was Professor for Macroeconomics at CMR, University of Cologne. I continue to be affiliated with CMR. I am also affiliated with MEA (Munich) and participate in the DFG priority program 1578. I am Editorial Board Member at the Journal of Pension Economics & Finance and at the Journal of Demographic Economics. My research interests are in the fields of dynamic macroeconomics with heterogeneous agents, public finance and computational economics.
