Arendt on South Africa: Insights and Limitations

Jacob Dlamini (Yale University/TRAMOD, Universitat de Barcelona) will give the lecture "Arendt on South Africa: Insights and Limitations". A specialist in African history, Dlamini's academic interests revolve around the intellectual history of precolonial Southern Africa, the social and political history of Africa and the history of the political violence in that continent. The lecture is held as part of the IV International Lecture Cycle Arendtian Springs (Primaveres arendtianes), organized by the Seminari Filosofia i Gènere of the Consolidated Research Group (GRC) Creació i Pensament de les Dones.
