Lectora 20: dossier on The Figure of "the Neighbor" in 19th Century Literature
Issue number 20 of Lectora: revista de dones i textualitat is out. This volume includes a Dossier edited by Rodrigo Andrés, researcher at the Centre Dona i Literatura, entitled The Figure of "the Neighbor" in 19th Century Literature, which gathers essays by Diego Falconí, Wyn Kelley, Martine Reid, María Isabel Rovira and Carlota Surós, as well as contributions by Laura López Peña, researcher at the Centre Dona i Literatura, and the editor. The Varia section includes essays on various subjects, such as the latest trends in short-story writing by women, María Zambrano and the question of citizenship, Hannah Arendt's thought on the differences between regimes, the works by the artist Grete Stern for the magazine Idilio, and the "hysterization" of the word in Hélène Cixous. The section devoted to Creative Writing features a monograph on the exhibition cycle "Blanc sota negre. Treballs de de l'imperceptible", curated by the researcher at the Centre Dona i Literatura Joana Masó and Assumpta Bassas. The monograph includes six original works, created especially for this issue of Lectora, by the artists Mar Arza, Isabel Banal, Blanca Casas Brullet, Antònia del Río, Freya Powell and Mireia Sallarès. The journal concludes with the usual section on Reviews.
