The researcher at the Centre Dona i Literatura Elena Losada Soler has edited the monograph "Noir and Criminal: Favela Novels and Other Fractured Genres", published in number 3, 2014, of the journal Abriu: estudos de textualidade do Brasil, Galicia e Portugal. This monograph approaches the concept of "favela novel" and gathers essays on hybrid forms of crime novel in Brazilian, Portuguese and Galician literature. The monograph is a result of the research project MUNCE.
