Rafael M. Mérida Jiménez, researcher at the Centre Dona i Literatura, has edited the volume Masculinidades disidentes, published in the collection Mujeres y culturas (Icaria, 2016). This volume explores the plurality of experiencies, perecptions, and representations of masculinity in Spanish society and culture during the last few decades. The texts included in this edition reflect on and analyze recent "sexual dissent" from a multiplicity of perspectives, such as sociology, anthropology, artistic production, film, literary studies, and trans activism and historiography.
