The Governing Council of the Universitat de Barcelona has approved the creation of the new research Center in Theory, Gender and Sexuality (ADHUC) on June 16, 2016. This center has been created and promoted by the GRC Creació i pensament de les dones, which includes the following groups: the Centre Dona i Literatura (Center for Women and Literature. Gender, sexualities and cultural criticism), the Seminari Filosofia i Gènere and Tàcita Muta (Grup d'Estudis de Dones i Gènere a l'Antiguitat). Dr. Helena González Fernández is the director of ADHUC, with a team made up of researchers from the Universitat de Barcelona, the Universitat de Lleida, the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique-CNRS (France), Hamilton College (United States) and the Università del Salento (Italy). In the coming months the Research Center will become visible online and in social media; in the meantime, all the information about its activities can be accessed at www.ub.edu/cdona. The main office is located at the Facultat de Filologia, Universitat de Barcelona (at the office of the Centre Dona i Literatura). From September onwards, the email address will be: adhuc@ub.edu.
