The book winner of the ADHUC 2018 Award, Sonrisas verticales. Homoerotismo femenino y narrativa erótica by Estrella Díaz Fernández, has been published in the series "Mujeres y Culturas" by Icaria Editorial. In her work, Díaz Fernández, postdoctoral researcher at ADHUC–Teoria, Gènere, Sexualitat, studies the collection «La sonrisa vertical», which included works of fiction representing characters with heterodox sexualities, among them, lesbian women. The author examines the representation of lesbian homoerotism in the works which were part of the collection, written both by women and by men.
