Pau Matheu Ribera, researcher at the Seminari Filosofia i Gènere—ADHUC, will defend his doctoral thesis entitled "Simone Weil. Una filosofia política surgida del compromiso radical de no mentirse", directed by Rosa Rius Gatell and Carmen Revilla. The thesis analyses the evolution of the political thought of the French philosopher Simone Weil (1909-1943), trying to grasp the concreteness of the different proposals for action that she developed to combat the rise of totalitarianism.
The thesis defence will take place in person. Given the limited amount of seats, those interested in attending the event will have to send a previous e-mail to adhuc@ub.edu.
