What does decolonial theory bring to feminisms as a counter-hegemonic epistemology? What are the axes of its critique of Eurocentric feminisms? How does decolonial feminism view race, gender, sexual diversity, and class in the context of national and colonial modernities? These and other questions will be addressed in the dialogue between Yuderkys Espinosa Miñoso, one of the key figures of the decolonial turn and director of the Instituto Caribeño de Pensamiento e Investigación Descolonial (INCAPID), and María Teresa Vera-Rojas (ADHUC-University of the Balearic Islands). Yuderkys Espinosa is the author of the book De por qué es necesario un feminismo descolonial (Icaria, 2022) in the series "Mujeres y Culturas. Ensayos sobre género y sexualidad", published by Icaria and ADHUC.

Activity open to anyone interested. Registration in advance until June 14 at adhuc@ub.edu by sending name, surname and email.
